At times, I feel the need to simplify!
Using black, rather than many colors, allows me to concentrate more on the form and shape of a piece. This bracelet features an offset hole, the bracelet itself undulates thick and thin.
The piece was first sanded with a medium grit sanding block, then a fine, then MicroMesh sheets from 1500 – 12000. Finally, the piece was buffed against a soft lambswool wheel on my Foredom buffer.
Detail: This view of the same round bracelet illustrates the varying thicknesses of the bracelet itself.
